Do nice people go to hell?
If you have not ever accepted Jesus as your personal Savior let me take a few minutes to tell you something. I was once asked a question: “Do nice people go to hell?” Sadly the answer is YES, nice people do go to hell. You see, God sees deep into the heart of man.
The scripture tells us in Romans 3:10, “As it is written, There is none righteous, nobody, not one.” If you have a pie and drop it on the ground face down, and only one piece is broken do you eat the pie? Of course not, for the whole pie got dirty, and that is the way sin is. It may only break a piece but it makes the entire body dirty. 1 John 1:8 says, “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
So, we have all sinned, we have all become dirty in the eyes of God. But thank God for I John 1:9 which says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.” So can nice people go to heaven? Yes, but also bad people. God’s will is that none would perish.
So right now all you have to do is pray this prayer. “Lord, I am a sinner, I do not want to deceive myself. I know you died for my sins and is buried, and rose from the grave for my victory. Lord, I accept this gift of salvation not by what I have done but by what you did on the cross of Calvary. Jesus come into my heart and save me.” That all there is to it! Do you feel that peace that fills your heart?! If you did accept Jesus into your life, I ask you to go to a church as soon as possible. Walk down to the altar and tell the Pastor what Jesus did for you.
Send me us an email so we can rejoice with you!
